SCOTLAND
When I visited Scotland in 2023 I had low expectations. I had visited Edinburgh before and had taken one day trip out to Loch Ness and it all just reminded me of Alaska and somehow didn’t impress me much.
However, this second trip was a gamechanger; I felt very at home in this country. Perhaps it’s the ruggedness of the countryside or sense of independence and no nonsense of the Scots. But I left seeing myself moving to Scotland someday.
From exploring mysterious dark closes in Edinburgh, to riding a Hogwarts Express knock-off, to hunting down a redheaded soldier in the Fraser clan, to trying ALL the whiskeys, I had a jam-packed trip to Scotland that left a lifelong impression on me.
