BIG ISLAND, HAWAII
I spent a year living on the Big Island and exploring every nook and cranny that I could. And let me tell you, even a year isn’t long enough to see and do everything on the island. I fell in love with it and I consider it my second home.
After living there, I became a coffee snob from living off of Ka’u coffee and Kona coffee. I became familiar with the trails in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Nene is now my favorite bird.
I became involved with the community, getting to know the people and the culture. I learned what it takes to survive and thrive on this island.
I still stay in touch and visit, always keeping up to date on happenings on the island.
Let me share with you angles of the Big Island not everyone sees!

Aloha! I’m Tabitha, an ex-travel agent turned travel blogger. I’ve lived from fire (Big Island Hawaii) to ice (Alaska) to the lukewarm (Washington State). I’ve traveled 10+ countries.
