Snugly set against the banks of the Wenatchee River, LOGE Leavenworth Riverside cabins will make you feel like your camping on the outside but staying at a hotel on the inside. Not to mention it’s walking distance to the center of town.
The pièce de la résistance was stepping out onto my private porch and being greeted by the views of seafoam blue water rushing below, literally just a stone’s throw away.

LOGE Leavenworth Riverside offers a perfect combination of natural surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and convenient access to the vibrant town of Leavenworth.
My favorite feature is that each cabin has a private deck overlooking the Wenatchee River.
Leavenworth’s town center is just over a half-mile away, making it walkable to get to all the activities, but just far enough to escape the busyness.
There are eight studio cabins and one 2-bedroom cabin that are designed with modern aesthetics and comforts. They are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with A/C, free Wi-Fi, coffee & tea, and comfy beds.
For those traveling with furry companions, LOGE Leavenworth Riverside is a dog-friendly destination that doesn’t charge an extra pet fee, a huge plus in my book!
These cabins are great for a romantic escape, a family vacation, or a nature retreat with town amenities.

- Riverside View: Every cabin has its own furnished private deck, overlooking the Wenatchee River.
- Natural Ambience: The cabins are nestled under towering evergreen trees, giving you the experience of being in nature but still close to town. This also provides much-needed shade during hot summer days
- Private and Separate: The private cabins don’t share walls with other guest cabins, so no worries of eavesdroppers.
- Comfort: The cabins come with modern amenities and comfortable beds.
- Location: While it feels like a secluded retreat, it’s also super close to the town center, allowing you to enjoy the local excitement by day and escape to peacefulness at night.

❌ Cons of LOGE Leavenworth Riverside
- Not Ideal for Large Families: While the 2-bedroom Boulder Bend Cabin has two queen beds and fits 4 people, there is only one and can easily sell out during peak season. Families of 5+ won’t fit unless you rent a second studio cabin.
- Parking Situation: Parking is a little awkward with parallel parking against a hill and a tight turnaround to get back out as the “road” dead ends. It’s not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of.
- Shady Location: Sun-seekers should note that these cabins are nestled within a shaded area. However, this can be a blessing during the scorching summer months, providing a cool oasis to return to after spending time in the sunshine during your walk through town or floating down the river.
- Outskirts of Downtown: The cabins are a little over half a mile from the main town center, which means it’s not the most convenient for popping back to the room on foot if you forgot your hat or something. But, it is walkable and also means you won’t be woken up early in the morning by the noisy street cleaners.
- No Television: It’s worth mentioning that there are no televisions in the cabins. While this might be considered a drawback by some, it does offer you the opportunity to unplug and unwind, maybe inspiring you to read a book or play a board game instead. After all, binging Parks and Rec for the 10th time can wait until you get back home, right?
My Experience Staying at LOGE Leavenworth Riverside
My stay at LOGE Leavenworth Riverside was one of my favorite memories in Leavenworth.
The property does not have a staffed office. It is self-check in and we received a code for the door the morning we were arriving.
I was pleasantly surprised by the cabin’s modern interior and how clean it was.
I did find it funny that they had branded swag for sale by the front door.
I must admit that I must not have read the description of the property very thoroughly beforehand because when we first arrived, my jaw dropped at how close the river was to the cabin and that our private back porch overlooked it. I almost could’ve thrown a rock in the river from the porch lol.
Our puppy, Bingley came with us and I super appreciated that he was welcomed without any additional charges (I had gotten a surprise pet charge from our rental the night before that I was not happy about). He also enjoyed his stay and had a grand time exploring the dedicated doggie area up the hill.
The bed was so comfortable, especially the pillows (I am trying to find a way to buy them for my own bed at home). And I loved that it faced the back porch, so if I was sitting up in bed I could look out towards the trees and the river.
When we kept the sliding glass door open it let in the sound of the rushing river water, which kind of acted as a natural white noise machine to keep out the traffic noise from the bridge above the property.
The room came with instant coffee, but I’m a snob and need the real deal. So for breakfast we ventured up the street to grab some espresso and pastries and returned to the cabin so we could enjoy our breakfast overlooking the river.
Overall, our experience at LOGE Leavenworth Riverside was exceptional and I can’t wait to return.

Riverside is a quaint property with a row of 8 studio cabins and a 2-bedroom cabin situated on the Wenatchee River and only about a 12-minute walk to all the fun in town.
Riverside Cabins
While the cabins are a studio, they’ve managed to design it to feel like it has different “rooms” by having an entryway, a sleeping area, a sitting area, and tiny kitchen. The comfortable queen bed facing the private deck which overlooks the Wenatchee River. creating the perfect setting to unwind after a day of exploration.

Boulder Bend Cabin
If you are looking for more space and comfort, the Boulder Bend Cabin is what you want. This spacious two-bedroom cabin offers magnificent riverfront views with a large outdoor deck equipped for grilling and relaxing.
Inside, are two private queen bedrooms. The cabin also includes a full kitchen, a dining nook, and a living room with a fireplace.

The common area for all cabins feature a fire pit with lots of seating, a BBQ, picnic tables, and an outdoor movie screen. Not to mention the property has tree strong enough and perfectly spaced for hanging hammocks.

As with most hotels, LOGE Leavenworth Riverside‘s pricing fluctuates daily based on the day of the week or demand.
Just like airfare, you’ll find that weekend stays, as well as holidays, will typically be the most expensive and sell out first.
During the summer or certain seasonal festivities like Oktoberfest and Christmas is when you’ll see peak prices. January-May tend to be the slowest months.
So, if you’re planning a visit, it’s worth considering a midweek stay if you can or avoiding peak seasons to get the most bang for your buck.
