7 Festive Pumpkin Patches in Snohomish County, WA
Looking for pumpkin patches in Snohomish County?
During the fall, people from all over Washington state have a tradition of making the pilgrimage to Snohomish County to visit pumpkin patches to find that perfect gourd, play different festival games, and take family photo-ops (just please, no sad beige outfits lol!).
Pumpkin patches are everywhere in Snohomish County, and no two are the same. You can go for the quiet, pumpkins-only farm or spend all day at a full-blown fall carnival.
To help you narrow down your options, I’m giving the low down of what each farm offers so you can decide which pumpkin farm matches the experience you are looking for!
My personal favorite pumpkin patch is Swan Trails Farm because it has a little bit of everything and the apple cider donuts are the bomb!

Down some back roads, in its own little corner of Snohomish Valley, you’ll find Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm. Park and walk uphill to the festivities.

You’ll notice the first, viney pumpkin patch adjacent to the lower parking lot. As you walk up the path you’ll pass the popping apple cannons where you can watch the fruits careen across the field.
At the front entrance, Bob’s has the county’s best pumpkin display for picturesque family photos. There are plenty of pumpkin piles for multiple groups to take their photos without having to wait their turn in line.

A charming water tower has water running down the trench. Buy a bag of dirt and sift through it looking for gems and treasures like a prospector.
The line for pumpkin or apple cider donuts begins immediately at opening. There is easy viewing to watch them fry the donuts and serve them hot and fresh.

They also serve an apple cider or pumpkin cider squishie, a Bob’s version of a slushie.
Other foods that can be found are crepes, roasted corn and squash, bbq food, and Ellie Mae’s fudge.
The gift store is full of preserves, fruit butters, honey, pumpkins, and even Cougar cheese for WSU alumni. If you don’t want to pick a pumpkin from the patch, choose from pre-picked piles here.

All the things listed above are accessible without paying for an admissions pass. For more entertainment, payment is required into the fenced off activities section.
Paid activities on the farm include:
- Corn Maze
- Apple Cannon
- Hay Rides
- Cow Train
- Playground
- Gem Mining
- Trike Track
- Kids Maze
- Big Slide
- Corn Crib
- Rope Maze
- Sandpit
- Tag
A tractor ride takes you across the street to the 12-acre corn maze and another pumpkin patch.
There’s a playground with giant tube slides, “hay” rides and cow trains pulled by tractors, a pit of corn kernels to play in, and more.
At night, try finding your way out of the corn maze in the dark, using only your flashlight to guide you.
Rent out barn space for your birthday party, coworker party, or just for fun.
Better yet, tiki torch lined firepits are available for rent INSIDE the corn maze. Bob’s will not only make and maintain the fire for you, but you can drop your foods, blankets, or whatever at check-in and Bob’s will transport them to the firepit for you.
This allows you to enjoy walking through the corn maze, hassle free. Walk half of the corn maze until you reach your firepit (with all your things waiting). When you are done at the pit, finish the second half of the maze and Bob’s will bring all your belongings back to the front check in.
2. Bailey Farm
Quiet, Quaint, and Simple

Address: 12691 Springhetti Rd, Snohomish, WA 98296
Dates: Sept 20-Oct 31, 2025
Hours: Mon-Fri 12pm-5:30pm; Sat-Sun 10am-5:30pm
Admission: Free
Bailey Farm is more of a u-pick farm rather than a festive pumpkin patch. However, if you are looking for a sweet, quiet location to pick your holiday pumpkins with a few activities for young children, this is a great option.

Small children will enjoy:
- Tractor Trike Pit
- Sandbox
- Hay Run

Wander through the pumpkin patch to find the perfect one(s) for your home. If you don’t feel the need to hunt for pumpkins in the field, the metal barn has pre-picked pumpkins and squashes for your convenience. They have one of the most reasonably priced produce in the county.
On the weekends you can buy a cup of cider, baked goods, and fresh kettle corn.

The apple orchard is also open for u-pick. By mid-September the Honeycrisp apple orchard will be open and in October the Jonagold and Cosmic Crisp apples will be ready.
3. Carleton Farm
The More You Look, the More You Find

Address: 630 Sunnyside Blvd SE, Lake Stevens, WA 98258
Dates: Weekends Sept 27-Oct 31, 2025
Hours: Fri-Sat 10am-6pm; Sun 10am-5pm
Admission: $15-$25pp
Carleton Farms is open year round, selling produce that’s in season along with local canned goods and unique wines from Oregon. During October they host fall festivities.
If you are at the upper parking lot, you’ll immediately smell the pumpkin donuts in the air. While they don’t serve them fresh, you can buy them by the dozen in the market section.
As you walk up you’ll see a row of barn animals like goats and chickens open for viewing.

If the upper parking lot is full, there is also a lower parking lot, which is also close to the pumpkin patch for easy loading.
There is a plethora of pre-picked pumpkins in the courtyard, so if you are looking for a quick buy, that is an option.
Their beautiful barn is set up with tables to eat at, as well as a viewing platform overlooking the activities field below.

Photo-ops are also scattered around.
There are different admission levels, depending on what activities you wish to do. Buy your tickets at a booth then walk down to the fenced in area of fun.

While Carleton advertises as a “no frills pumpkin patch”, I beg to differ. As you can see, they have quite a few things to keep you entertained.

Claiming to be Snohomish Valley’s original pumpkin patch, you can feel the nostalgia and traditions in the air at Craven Farm. Walk under the pumpkin arch and enter the expansive farm, feeling pulled in multiple directions with all there is to see and do.

Craven is one of the best farms to visit if you just want to hang out without paying for activities. Most attractions are available ร la carte or with a wristband, but non-participants can still watch and enjoy the farm for free.
Cute fairy tale displays dot the area, like Snow White and the Seven Pumpkins or Pirates of the Pumpkin Patch. Heck, their corn maze is Alice in Pumpkinland themed.

Enjoy farm animal viewing, like goats or kittens.
There are plenty of food vendors to keep you satiated throughout the day. You’ll find foods like apple cider donuts, funnel cake, cheese curds, award-winning Lattin’s apple cider, and Craven’s secret recipe kettle corn. For a more substantial food they also serve chili dogs, soup bread bowls, and pulled pork sandwiches.
The pumpkin patch is in the back of the farm. Wander through the vines in search of the perfect gourd. There are plenty of boxes full of pumpkin varieties near check out as well.

Pay by the activity or buy a wristband pass. Mini golf is under a covered pavilion, a human foosball set up is ready for your teams, rubber duck races test your well pumping skills, and you can take a shot at Bigfoot with the apple cannons.

Barn space is available for rent. Small or large parties can celebrate special occasions in a fall-tastic venue.
Rent a firepit to cozy up to in the evenings. Craven will supply the fire, a 10’x20′ tent, picnic table, and “rustic seating”. Bring yard games to play nearby or marshmallows for roasting.
๐ On a couple select days they have Pooches in the Patch when they allow dogs on the farm.
This is the only pumpkin patch in this list that offers this option.

Stocker Farms has been around since 1919 and still run by 4th & 5th generation Stockers. They are the ones who helped make Snohomish famous for pumpkins.
Stocker Farms is loaded with things to do that will keep you entertained all day, so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth at this farm.
Without paying, all you have access to are the row of food trucks, small gift shop, the beer garden, and the pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is not really a patch but more just rows of pre-picked pumpkins sorted out by type.

Stocker Farms does not really feel like you are on a farm. Rather, it has a carnival-like atmosphere, needing a wristband to access most of the farm and attractions. Kid-friendly pumpkin songs play over speakers along with ads for the farm, even though you’re already there; weird.

Festive Farm Atmosphere

Address: 7301 Rivershore Rd, Snohomish, WA 98290
Dates: Sept 13-Oct 31, 2025
Hours: 10am-6pm

Swans Trail Farms could easily be the most popular pumpkin patch to visit. They have it all, the rustic farm feel, lots of farm-themed activities, food galore, and mouthwatering apple cider donuts (worth the long lines!).

Without admission you can access the pumpkin patch near the parking lot, shop the gift store, order food, and peek into the petting zoo area.

Enjoy a u-pick apple orchard with 4,000 apple trees of 4 different varieties.
Find many-a-food-option of kettle corn, caramel apples, roasted corn (which the line can be longer than the donuts), brisket, mac and cheese, hot dogs, and more. Choose from a few beautifully renovated barn dining halls to eat your meal.
I think the best free highlight is watching apple cider being freshly pressed behind the kitchen window located below the hay maze barn. If you are lucky, they will come out and give you a sample and let me tell you, the bottled cider ain’t got NOTHING on the freshly pressed apples!

With a wristband you gain entry into the activities area full of fun things to do.
Farmer Ben’s 4 Little Pigs show plays every couple of hours. A petting zoo includes animals like mini zebu, pigs, lambs, and rabbits. A giant climbing hay pyramid is great for kids to burn off energy, and the hay maze takes you through 3 stories of barn.

The Washington State themed 12-acre corn maze winds and bends with 4.5-miles of trail, taking you over 250 state roads and through 400 towns and landmarks, which are marked with historical facts.

Growing 150 different varieties of pumpkins, you won’t be lacking in choices at Thomas Family Farm.
The farm activities are a bit spread out. The pumpkin patch and corn maze are on the west side of the parking lot while the attractions and food are on the east side of the parking lot by the barn.
This is probably the most closed off pumpkin patches in Snohomish County if you don’t pay for admission. You can access the food court barn and 4,000 square foot beer garden (watching games on the big screens), buy apple cider donuts, take pics at a cute photo-op backdrop, pay to test your puzzle skills in the 5-minute escape rooms, shop the small gift shop, or wander the pumpkin patch.

Other than that, you’ll need tickets to enter the gated attractions area (separated by a theme park-sized line divider) and the corn maze.
A La Carte Activities ($5-10):

- Monster Truck Rides
- Escape Rooms
General Admission Activities ($15-25):

Don’t leave before dark though! Rent your group a firepit by the hour. Staff will make sure to keep the fire burning, all you have to do is provide your s’mores! A 6′ table and a wooden bench are also included. Admission not required.
Thomas Family Farm also puts on the famous Zombie Paintball. From the safety of the back of a tractor trailer, drive through the farm, shooting glow in the dark paintballs at zombies who dare threaten you!
Another scary option is the Nightmare on 9 Haunted Trail. Walk on a 0.25-mile, partially covered gravel trail through the farm, never knowing what will be around the corner. Or test your bravery by walking through the Nightmare on 9 Haunted House, the famous haunted barn experience.

The corn maze is also open at night. Bring your own flashlight or cellphone light to find your way out in the dark (not haunted).
๐๏ธ Where to Stay in Snohomish
Make it a weekend event and stay overnight near the pumpkin patches
Snohomish Inn – smack dab in downtown Snohomish
Delta Hotels by Marriott Seattle Everett – indoor pool; 6 miles from Snohomish
Best Western Sky Valley Inn – free breakfast; 6.5 miles from Snohomish
Know Before You Go
Admission – you will find a lot of admissions are cheaper online rather than walk-up, so check ahead of time. Toddlers tend to be free. PLEASE NOTE: The weekends can get extremely full and have been known to sell out, so book online in advance to guarantee entry.
Traffic – since pumpkin patching is a favorite pastime, be prepared for some traffic on the road near the farms, especially on weekends. You also might have to park further away than you’d prefer.
Pets – only service dogs are allowed on the farms. All others, including emotional support animals, are not allowed on the properties (unless otherwise noted).
Pumpkin Pricing – most farms will price by the size rather than the weight. You will often see a row of gradient-sized pumpkins for you to compare your own so you know how much you will be spending per gourd.

Wheelbarrows – every farm has plenty of wheelbarrows for loading your pumpkins, so no worries as to how you will carry your gourds from the fields back to your car. Some parking lots even have wheelbarrow (cart) returns.
Mud – if it’s been raining, pumpkin patches can get extremely muddy. During those times, it is highly recommended to wear mud boots, not your Jimmy Choos.

๐ฒ Washington Travel Planning Guide ๐ฒ
๐จย Should I buy Washington travel insurance?
YES โ I recommend Travel Insurance Master because you can compare multiple options with one click. With plans starting at $5/day per person, why not give yourself piece of mind? Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!
ย ๐ย Is it safe to rent a car in Washington?
YESย โย Itโs totally safe to drive in Washington. And unless you are planning to just stay in Seattle, renting a carย is pretty much a necessity! Beware of tolls whether crossing bridges or driving in HOV lanes. I recommend Discover Cars as they have some of the best prices around.
๐ย Will my phone work in Washington?
YESย โ All major cell providers work in Washington. However, be prepared for some dead spots in the more remote parts like in the middle of the cascades.
๐๏ธย Whatโs the best way to book my Washington accommodations?
For Washington hotels,ย Booking.comย is amazing because you can often reserve your room with no money down. If you are looking at Airbnbs for a more home-like stay, donโt forget to checkย VRBOย for potentially better prices and options.
โ๏ธย Whatโs the best site to buy Washington flights?
I recommend looking atย Skyscannerย for finding cheap flights.ย Pro Tip: check if flying into Everett is cheaper than flying into Seattle.
๐ย Do I need a passport to visit Washington?
NOย โ If you are a US citizen, you do not need a passport asย Washington is part of the United States. If you are from out of the country, the same passport and visa requirements are the same as entering anywhere in the United States from your country.
๐งณWhat should I pack to Washington?
Layers! Layers! Layers! Weather can get finnicky, so prepare for both rain and sunny warm days. Wear comfortable walking shoes that can go from city strolls to mountain hiking.
