WASHINGTON STATE
Even though I consider myself as someone who grew up in Alaska, I have actually lived in Washington State for over half of my life. From living in downtown Seattle, to the suburbs in King County and Snohomish County, to the great island life of Whidbey, I’ve experienced local life in many corners of the state.
I often take day trips exploring small towns and unique festivals, or hunting for the best coffee in the state (currently the winner is Legacy Coffee in Snohomish!).
Leavenworth somehow snuck into my heart as my favorite weekend getaway with the perfect summer weather, relaxing river float trip, and constant festive atmosphere.
While everyone who comes to visit Washington tends to hang out in Seattle, I’m excited to show you alternative places around the state worth your time.

No matter if it’s a staycation or international vacation, every trip I take I find things to explore and discover! I’m here to take what I learn and help others think outside the box when composing their own travel itineraries. Read more…
